I actually only used watercolor pencils and some pearl powder with gloss :)

wow
thank you for letting me know
I have been told that paint can be messy and even ruin the doll
I have always wondered if the tip of the colored pencil should be sharp and pointy or round or both xD

Acrylic paints that do not contain oil or other things that are harmful to resin are okay to use. The most important thing is to seal the doll properly before using anything on it. I prefer keeping the watercolor pencils quite sharp for more precise line, but it's important to not press too much so that it won't scratch the resin.

I almost made the fatal mistake of buying the oil paint

Do you make the doll bodies as well as painting and clothes?

Oh no, the doll itself is made by a BJD company Soom. I have only painted her face and hands, made the clothes and chosen wig and eyes to my liking :)
